this bike really isnt going to be a serious stunter... but it will have some wheelie time. therefore im really not going to do any crazy mods such as change a fork or a crash cage...

Re: helpful hints on buying used bikes?

if it's your first bike buy something a little older. you WILL drop your bike at one point or another being a new rider. get something that is in good shape but a few years older so the price is lower on it. you don't need a brand new bike or hte latest and greatest to learn on. you'll actually learn better on a bike you spend less money on and aren't so worried about scratching or whatnot. spending a lot on a minty perfect bike the first time takes the fun out of riding.

honda makes great bikes. you can pick up an f4i or 929/954 for a good price and they are great bikes for a first bike and will last a long time. compaired to other manufacturers they have less mechanical issues so more good time riding less time working on them.

DON'T buy from a stunter.....they all throw their bikes down, burn off the tires, constantly sit on the rev limiter,.........

.....if you DO buy from a "stunter" ask em how often they change their oil...if they say they ever have, they're lying! hahahahaaaahahahahahahahaha

Re: helpful hints on buying used bikes?

the fantastic4 : gsxr,f4i, 636, and the r6. First bike I'd stick with the 600 class. 12 seconds in the quarter mile is still plenty to kill yourself.
