thoughts on '05 r6

I've been offered with '05 r6 limited edition with gp electronics as a stuntbike for the next season...what do you think? i hate yahamas but it's free so it's hard to refuse, and considering that im on the old 900rr now....is it worth building into a stuntbike? I've never riden one, but I saw few ppl ride em and heard good things about their handling, but bad things about cracking easy...what about engine and oil starvation? are there and what are necessary mods on this bike? what are your experiences...

The sub frame's are trash, and rear pegs flex crazy like. No oil pickup is needed

Re: thoughts on '05 r6

The throttle is sensitive I put a f4i throttle tube on mine i helped a lot. As for oil in the airbox the clean air mod is the same as the 636...

i rock an '04, its seen some nasty spills straight onto the subframe and hasn't broke yet, i'm sure its a lot less durable than others but its not insanely weak. and yeah switch out the throttle housing, one of the best things i ever did to that bike.

Re: thoughts on '05 r6

that was my first bike, awesome power and the radial fronts are sweet too. the only problems i had were the the subframe, but that was because i used to scrape the **** out of it because it was all i could do at the time the only other downside was the bike sucking oil into the airbox, but there is a clean air mod to remedy the problem. id say go for it. sytfuR6 rocks one currently.
