Re: wheelies in rain
yeah I was surprised too. I rode out after it rained in a lot and ended up rollin stoppies with a nearly bald pilot power and ridin wheelies on my supercorsa. I've always been super cautious in rain till that happened.

Re: wheelies in rain
I had the Pirelli Diablo Sport tires on my old CBR F2 and as heavy as that was I could clutch up in the pouring rain and not spin. When the road was soaked they griped like it was dry.

Re: wheelies in rain
the only thing that use to bother me about doing stand up wheelies in the in the rain was my left foot would slip off the rear peg i no longer have that problem with my omr subcage because the peg doesn't flex at all so my foot doesn't slide off......

haha, ya
you can wheelie just fine in the rain.
how do you think they race in the rain taking corners upwards of 80-100mph? that would seem to boggle a person before a crappy wheelie in the rain. it works just the same, you just have to be a little smoother on power delivery and bam, wheelie.

I'll buy a OMR subcage if he can get his hands on my style bike. I'm getting close to just bringing my bike down there this winter so you can make one. My dads got a 2nd house by daytona.

Re: wheelies in rain
with ur garbage tires, i had minimal clutch, and mainly power last weekend.
On pirellis on my bike, I could clutch it up fine with any amount of clutch/throttle combination without worrying about slipping.
But then again.. this was in near freezing temperatures where we could see our breath in the air last weekend.
