Re: 636 question

03/04 have scary forks but still a real good bike.
i have the 05/06 and im real happy with it other than some bullshit that happend to me. i like the looks of the 05/06 better and like that it comes with a undertail exhuast that u can scrape the **** out of and even park ur bike on cuz its tough as hell. the tank was super easy to dent, i did most of it with my fist and it went in perfectly. the rims are real sweet looking compared to the 03/04 but theyre weak as ****, drop ur bike the wrong way and theyre gonna bend no doubt. other than that the bikes are real similar cept the body work.

no cuz they have shape to them. theyre not extremely difficult just the 05/06 is just a flat top so it falls right in perfectly without kinking. if u know what ur doing its not a big deal on the 03/04 i just suck at tank dents so if i could do it on the 05/06 its real easy.

Re: 636 question

03-04 seem to be the favored ones here. 05-06 are also suposed to be awsome stuntbikes but the earlier 636's are definatly favored. I personally love the looks of both. They are both very good looking bikes. The 05-06 with the undertail exhaust add alot to the newer ones.

Your not going to be unhappy with eather.

Re: 636 question

05 has better
fi system
Brakes
Suspension
looks.

Comes with a stock 12v bar (exhaust) which also saves the subframe.

Problems
-passenger pegs/brackets are junk
-rearsets are junk.. just like on the 03/04's.

Old Man Roger subframe cage and Ho Hey designs rear set brackets should fix both of those problems.

Re: 636 question

i hate f4i's, i bought it and built it up cuz i thought theyre supposed to be soo great. i didnt like it at all. the whole feel of the bike didnt work for me. on top of that, im sick of looking at f4i's. the ff ones look real good and some dudes got some dope sf's going on but for the most part ppl make them look like garbage blahhh i dont like f4is.

Re: 636 question

oh and if u get the 05/06 glue the tail light in with some epoxy before it breaks cuz the tabs that it holds on to on the top break real easy and then it flops.

Re: 636 question

i have an 05 and tony rocks and 03. the 03's have a full metal tank so you get more of a dent when you go to knock it in. i don't have my 05 dented so i don't know about them. both bikes have junk rearsets.

03/04 are suppose to have bad forks, but there have only been a couple of marked cases of this so i really wouldn't factor it in.

parts of 03/04 are going to be cheaper since it's an older bike.

03/04 are much easier to work on, 05 model is a pain to get to anything if you have to take the tank off, and the battery is under the tank along with electronics.

i personally think the 05 model is a weaker build than the 03/04....thinner metal and a lighter bike means it breaks easier. and definately like someone said, light rims and they bend super easy. they look trick though. i love my 05, and i love tony's 03 also. just for different reasons. my f4i is the prime stuntbike for me, i'm more about durability than anything else. the 636 wouldn't take half the beating that i put on that f4i, hence the reason i stunt the f4i.
