Re: Just Wondering
think I got BT 014's on mine. Seems grippy enough, but Pirelli Supercorsas are meant to be the nuts, just make sure its warm before you start stoppying.
p.s being serious... yes I notice a big difference for stoppies between asphalt and concrete etc... its just a grip issue for the launch, once the wheels up theres no major difference, but the slipperier the surface the less confident I am at launching the stoppie... I think this is just because of the change in amount of grip between the surfaces rather than the tyre...
I would never stoppy on gravel as that'd just be dumb would just lock the wheel and fall off

Re: Just Wondering
You've got supercorsars? if so stick with them, they are good tyres....
throw your weight forward a bit when you launch it, helps with grip.. if its grip issues on the launch that you are having?

Re: Just Wondering
Maybe its not warm enough, or you hit some loose gravel (no tyre will grip on gravel) or you're not committed enough to that stoppy and don't launch it right...or your tyre is worn?

Re: Just Wondering
if it happens when u first start then maybe its cuz its not warmed up. if not then maybe its ur technique. if not that then maybe it's ur front tire. if not that then maybe there's too much gravity at the back of ur bike.
