Re: whats up with....
there are many def's to a squid. mainly, it's someone that rides with no gear and rides stupid. they usually end up looking like a squid after they crash, hence the name squid. basically, someone that rides outside of their ability adn wrecks and tears off their skin off.

Re: whats up with....
let them be squids. . .as long as they dont go blowing up lots or crashing into other stunters, who cares?!? better on the computer typing than trying to wheelie between cars in grid-lock....saw that the other day, stupid !

Re: whats up with....
i'm hoping by tormenting them they will cry to their mama's and just not come back. sometimes i'm mean enough that i might get a toofer....they might just give up stunting all together and not come back here :YEAH

Re: whats up with....
I agree that how do I wheelie is bullshit. For me, some of the how to questions about bike set up or handbrake **** was never answered in the how to part. I wish there was a section that had some really good forum info on some of the questions asked time and time again. Sometimes people want to spend less time on the computer and more time out on the trial and error and I think that is why they don't take time to read just post and see what respose they get

I don't agree! Not to make waves, but I hhave spent a **** load of time and money on bike set up and it's not that I think that clip ons vs. bars are going to make me better but living in a place where 3-4 people in a 100 mile radius can even slow wheelie leaves me at a disadvantage. If it wasn't for this site I would have bought like 5 diff hb set ups before finding one that worked for me. I also would also have bought 3 diff cages before finding on that could withstand the abuse of a begginer that isn't afraid to push harder and harder. I love this site and it's feedback and I love to stunt. I can't go to local east or west coast spot and see what everyone else is running on there bikes. This is my only insight. I guess if I have a question that I can't answer and locals can't either, makes me a squid? Then I have a large tentacle placed between my legs.

Re: whats up with....
speakin of useless threads, this one's got 4 pages of people bitchin about newbies. if a newbie thread goes up with a dumb question, don't answer it. Don't waste your time flaming on someone who probably doesn't know any better anyway. With no replies the thread gets pushed to the bottom anyway and they've got no other choice than to search through older threads. Its not like those lame threads are strategically titled to trick you into wasting your time lookin at them.

i sometimes give them the benefit of the doubt cuz of the search being messed up. when i first started doing research, i used the search quite a bit. once it's up, i'll only reply with smart *** remarks.

and don't wine about not having people. until this last year i was the only one in the area of 2 hours that was doing anything actually considered to be stunting. riding a 90+mph highway wheelie for 100 yards doesn't count. i had to travel. when i started, there were maybe 5 total even over at indy that were stunting. nearest "stunters" that completed were 4+ hours away from me. i traveled a lot to learn from them and i also just learned a lot by trial and error. you'd be surprised what you can find out about equipment on here if you just read a little before asking. that is the main bitch in this thread, that people are asknig questions that you can find answers to like 3 threads below what they just asked. that and the "i can't wheelie, tell me how" threads.
i never once knocked on people for coming here and finding out info; but if there is 10 threads on cages explaining the in's and outs of them all....please, read that instead of reposting. it's common sense.

yeah dude sorry about that lash out!! we are on the same page. check it out, three how to wheelie posts on the first page today. lol
it does kind of suck though that I see less people going to the help and how to section which forces some posts in discussion. It also seems that when a post get too long nobody wants to read through it.

well, hopefully nags will get on it and start moving that junk.
the reason people (including myself) don't go into help and how-to anymore is that exact reason, it's all the same thing over and over again. if they would just read a few pages before posting they would see the answer. instead they just click "post thread" before even scrolling down the page.
