Re: POOR MANs STUNTBIKE

Check this.... ill let you pics of the aluminum Mx bars, custom shorty clutch lever (a shimano bike lever with a machined slide so i can adjust clutch pull effort :D ) and of course the handbrake master (its a 1991 gsxr1100 hidraulic clutch master)

Before you guys ask.... thats a unicycle seat and uncicycle cranks and hub cranks shortened by myself to 135mm, hub custom machined from a freestyle hub, crank spindle also custom built from the billet...

Re: POOR MANs STUNTBIKE

make sure that crank isn't bent from the impact on that right side. it happens quite a bit on the stator side, but on the magneto side it can happen also....bent crankshaft=bad news

Re: POOR MANs STUNTBIKE

the crankshaft isnt bent... i told the guy to remove the spark plugs and to spin the engine using the starting motor to check for any wobbles....he told me it was allright spinning straight over the edge...

anyways...what you guys see in the picture isnt the crankshaft.. the crankshaft is about two inches inside, thats onlt a bolted on piece that can be replaced in cace of damage...it acts as a fuse in case of an accident to avoid bending the cranckshaft

Re: POOR MANs STUNTBIKE

Look at this exploded view.... thats why im saying the cranckshaf is allright...

in case of a hard direct hit... the bolt ont the screw-on signal generator rotos would snap, cut, or bend and it would save the crankshat from damage

Re: POOR MANs STUNTBIKE

Its my choice...ive been stunting dirtbikes... i dont want to go directly to a 4 cilinder sportbike... (i dont want and i dont have the money to afford a decent one) so the GS will be something like a middle step

Re: POOR MANs STUNTBIKE

Consider a gixxer 600 fork and rear shock swap. I did it on my old GS500 and it made a world of difference. Handled like a dream and would endo with 0 effort.

Re: POOR MANs STUNTBIKE

The stator cover, starotr and pickup rotor was all fucked up....i putted the rotor in a (CNC but manual opertaion sorry i dont know how you guys call it) i spinned it heating it and using a light hammer i managed to put it back where it belongs....i used a pair of scooter captors to replaced the fucked ones... i assembled everything, charged battery bridged the wires and MAGIC....engine running... in the first day....

a friend of mine will split open my gas tank to UN-DENT it...

An I already ordered a pair of MX clamps to fit my renthal replica bars :D

Still to be done are...12 BAR, CAGE and Handbrake... and of course... MY WEBSITES DECALS!!!! JAJAJAJA PICS SOON TO COME
