Re: f4i tail bracing

are u referring to the tube under the rear seat that goes across the subframe? if so, then i found a threaded rod at home depot that i think is 3/8 of an inch and it fits in the tube perfectly. i think it's 12" long. i slid it through the tube and subframe. i bolted it on both sides and it works just fine.

Re: f4i tail bracing

A piece of wood will do the trick but if you wanna do it the right way I would put some fiberglas on the inside.

Re: f4i tail bracing

i make my tails 100% fiberglass, i use a stock tail as a mold. its alot of work takes about 2-3weeks to make one, but its 50x stronger than a stock tail, and when it hits the ground it doesnt crack

Wouldn't a subframe cage keep the tail from hitting?

Re: f4i tail bracing

whoa, i was way off with my first post on here. i have a piece of wood in between the front and rear seat and it rests on the subframe. it's just a little board to stand on, basically.
