learning to wheelie

i'm trying to learn to stunt... can anyone tell me how i can tell if i reached bp. im cluthing up in first...(on a zx7r) but it comes up so fast and hard. im not ready for 12 oclock yet!!!...i went down one tooth on the front hopeing i could get that bitch up in 2nd... but it is not working... im going up 2 in the back so maybe it will be easier.....its a heavy bike...but anyway i see alot of you guys do 1st gear wheelies....is there a smooth way to do them? people tell me if you know how too do wheelies, you can wheelie anything..

general rule of thumb on most bikes, at balance point the fork legs are parallel to the ground. Keep that rear brake covered!
