stunt cage+ twisties?

My f4i is the only bike I have.. Almost every weekend I hit up twisty back roads in md/wv for around 200 miles~ I love riding twisties but I also have a little interest in doin a few stunts.. so far all I can really do is wheelies and stoppies. I don't even have frame sliders right now and I've been thinking about a stunt cage... how much do they limit your lean angle? I dont want to get anything thats gonna scrape really easily.. I saw at HAI bike shop they have the sick innovations cage with a "low profile" design.. how much lower is it? since this is my only bike I REALLY dont want to mess up my twisty riding.

Re: stunt cage+ twisties?

i've got an si cage on mine and i still hit the turns pretty hard. just look where the bar connecting the two sides on the bottom goes, plenty of clearance. worst case is you just scrape it a little? no big deal.

Sounds like he's not exactly an experienced stunter.lol

If you plan on stunting and doing the twisties the best cage you can get is the Sick Innovations cage. It gives awsome protection and still gives you clearence in the twisties.

T'RIC'KY will become famous soon enough
Re: stunt cage+ twisties?

I have no problem scraping the ground with my SI cage on the 954, it offers enough ground clearance, the nipples of the footrests hit the ground a lil bit earlier than the cage.

+1,000,000 You couldn't have said that any better!
I just got my cage last week and was rippin the twisties last night with two buddies and they said my cage doesn't come close at all. Check them out! Tygersharkcages.com and I found out last night that the spring loaded sliders are key! I will never buy any other cage ever.

Re: stunt cage+ twisties?

SICK INNOVATIONS!

The pegs hit the ground before the cage... So unless your scraping peg, your gravy with a SI

not to mention SI kick *** on a full time stunter... So there you go, you got a strong cage, and you can kill twisties.. can't go wrong with SI!

Re: stunt cage+ twisties?

sick innovations also offers rails for all the bikes. I take my f4i through the cloverleaf's, the tight country twisties, and the sharp highway turns all the time and my full sick innovations f4i cage has never touched.

Not really a good debate. I do not disagree with the tygershark but alot of pros use Fresstyle Injenuituy cages and they suck.
