Re: F2 seals
somone here posted a link to a complete service manual for that bike ahwile ago. I think the search is still broke though. If you can find that it should give you an idea.
Or try google and see if you can find that online service manual.

Re: F2 seals
it's not bad. that's the output shaft of the transmission. the proper way to do it is to tear the tranny apart....but that's not what you'll do.
take that sprocket off, get a good pick set and gently try to remove the old seal (dont worry about the seal, but try not to scratch the shaft or the cases where they touch the seal.
after that'd done, get the new seal, lube it with fresh oil and slide it to the cases...use a deep well socket and tap it in gently until it's flush with the outside of the cases. also, if you're not a mechanic, take note how the old seal comes out and put the new one in just like that.
we have tools for this stuff, but i figured i would break it down for stuff you might have.
not a hard job when done that way i explained.

Re: F2 seals
Easy fix. Even easier fix if this bike uses a collar between the countershaft and the seal. If the seal's ID grips the countershaft you can carefully dig it out. If it uses the spacer buy a seal puller and pull it out evenly with force on oppisite sides. Be gentle because the tool is steel, alot harder than the case and it will dig into it if you goon it and just try prying it out in one swipe. I have also seen some backyarders thread a selftapper or sheet metal screw into seals and then try pulling them out with vicegrips. They have all had varying deggres of sucsess.
