Re: difference between
gpr and scotts aren't even close to the same. the only thing they share is the type, they are both rotory.
scott's has stupid junk mounts with tiny screws that strip easily causing you to have to cut your damper mounts off to get the top clamp off to adjust stem nuts.
gpr uses a different mount that is a lot more reliable and easy to remove.
i don't like either, rotory both allow some slop in the system with is room for error. nitrogen charged piston type dampers are much more precise and a lot less slop in them.

Re: difference between
I dunno about GPR but I've sent my scotts in for service twice so far. I just got it back. Had it turned up and I'm still getting head shake for sure if I turn stoppies with some speed. The rim I have has a small dent but it shouldn't affect it that much.

i had a scotts and now have a GPR and GPR has better quality and better customer service in general. my buddy on races for safety first suzuki in the AMA and the team uses pittbulls and he said they are "decent"

Re: difference between
nitrogen charged rod type have zero; hyperpro active and ohlins both are nitrogen charged and slop free.
