SCOTT_Chychul has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Re: Help...

I used to be able to do highchairs longer then i could regular. Trick is to have a nice D shape dent in your tank, the front part acting as a brake to stop you from sliding forward. Lean back, keep your arms locked and use your arms to hold you back. Come in with maximum ramming speed and put it down BEFORE you stop otherwise you will tip over and crash. I always have full fairings which help but if you have a newer kawi or something with that shitty weak material get a 905 upper stay to make it solid.

Re: Help...

Does the old KDXer have enough stopping power to bring the rear tire of the ground?

Re: Help...

Yeah the old kdx is probably a tough one to stunt. I race an 07 YZ 250 it has a braking oversize wave rotor kit and I religiously bleed the brakes with Motul fluid. And you really have to throw your wieght forward to roll a decent stoppie. Like you said traction is the main problem with such aggresive braking on a dirtbike that and a combination of the long travel suspension. If the forks are working properly they are plush initially and get progressivly stiffer, so I see guys losing all there forward energy when the front end dives and then they end up clamping down harder on the brake causing the front end to wash. I dont try stunting on my MX bike (leave that for squids) but after some practice motos me and a friend sometimes challenge each other to some slow wheelies and stoppies. He should actually try street stunting he is an AMA pro and qaulify's for MX nationals. I have seen him do nice smooth 180 stoppies and go into super slow sitdowns the second the rear tire touches the ground. He just has no interest in the taste of Asphalt I guess.

Re: Help...

Hard to say by his avatar but some of the old Kawis do have 1 piston calipers. I think his looks knewer than that though. It is liquid cooled anyway. My question is who thinks his pads are soaked with fork oil?
