**Drastic Dan Meak**peep this

I've been researching and to my nerdy point dexter calculations...

but seriously
i think i have solved the 06zx10r front end problem!

what do you think about taking the complete 06 zx10r front end and pressing out the 10r's stem and pressing in the 03's stem in its place and using the
03's top triple clamp aswell since it is flat and makes for a great DB bar surface.

(wheeliest and Johny p gave me the idea)...PROPS!

any one interested or knowledgable on this topic please chim in

i currently have a thread up on a ZX forum so we will see whats good in the hood.

lmao that was my idea and well we bent to press plates using a 30ton press and the lower triple started to bow. if u find a way please let me know and johny i need some of those calipers spacers to use the 05-06 rotors on my 03-04 forks till i get the forks ill pm u tho

oh yea dan contacted like 4 machine shops that said they could do it but only 1 out of 10 usually work the other 9 end up snapping in half

Re: **Drastic Dan Meak**peep this

Yeah That was my first idea. But from trying and not being successful and talking to the machine shops they did say they would do it but also said they have tried be4 and have broken alot of triples doing it. but it is possible but you might want to buy a few triples for the process.I just sold mine and got new 07 636 forks and had $125 extra dollars.
Me and Joe Vertical talked about it and didn't come up with anything else.
One thing i thought of is you could possibly use 1000rr top and lower triples?
I herd they would fit the other day but im not sure so don't quote me on that but it's something to look into.

...or you could just use some forks / wheels that are easy to swap.

My 06 fork and wheel swap took a little over an hour... (both wheels)
