Stoppie shudder?

i cant seem to stop the front end of my 954 shuddering agressively when starting a stoppie.

If i smash the brakes on hard while travelling fast and get it really high straight away (like your supposed to) it doesnt do it. But if i do a slower speed stoppie it shakes the bars so hard i nearly go over.
i had the problem years ago on my Gixxer, i just put genuine pads in and it stopped.

i have genuine pads, good wheel bearings, good steering head bearings and straight wheels/forks etc and it still does it???

any help appreciated, any stoopid co(k remarks arent!

Re: Stoppie shudder?

definately not bent rotor, the brakes dont do it all the time, and lever dont move.
Got new Michelin Pilot Power on front.

Re: Stoppie shudder?

I have that same problem I have heard that the caliper pistons can stick and can cause this, I think my front master is going to **** too! cause i can pull it all the way to the grip with force,

I think the first thing i would try is cleaning out the calipers, you just need that star allen head to seperate them!

Re: Stoppie shudder?

my gix did that and it was bent rotors, my 636 was doing that same thing and it was bent rotor and rim. i never felt anything in the lever at all and it would only do the shuttering at low speeds.
