Re: -1 +2 ????

It will not make a difference if ur doing them that fast.. REAR BRAKE is the answer not gearing

shouldnt it give a little more low end torque to get it up easier at little slower speed

yes it will, but you can slow/stop a wheelie by rocking it a little past BP and riding the brake. I would concentrate more on riding bp and learning to slow it down, kinda sounds to me like your still chasing a little......

i refuse to let my rpm's go above 11 when riding one out, i've never had a motor problem and i attribute it to not riding high rpm whoolies...

Re: -1 +2 ????

gearing doesnt improve your wheelie skills. i had an 03 r6 and i had no issues with stock gearing pulling that thing up at 25mph in 2nd gear and maintaining 40 mph. when i did gear it, i went -1 +5 and it was perfect, i could still do around 140mph

Gearing won't help you slow down 2nd gear other than it's slower speed you can clutch it up at... SLowing down a wheelie = behind bp and rear brake
