why trade your 1000 for a 600 for stuntin?
one question that i was wondering is why is everyone trading in their liter bikes for a 600 to stunt? i started out i a 954 and liked the bike alot, then got a f4i to stunt and fukn hated it... just wasnt as good on the f4i. so said *** it and bought another 954...just wanted some opinions on the topic.is anyone else better on a liter bike? is it preference? money? or do they just make better stunt bikes? thanks

600's are more forgiving. I have yet to hear of a stunter trading their literbike in for a 600.......we normally just "add" a 600 to our stable....LOL

What made the f4i so bad to the point that you hated it?
The 954 does have a lot more power, probably lets you get an extra block or two before it redlines when you power wheelie

you probably felt better on your other bike cause you rode it more...if you rode the f4i for a while you would get use to it...im sure even the pro's take a second to get use to a new bike....i think people get f4i's because they are like a rock....

just didnt click with the bike... my stoppies were terrible, 12's were ok, but felt like the bike wasnt as smooth. im 6'0" 202lbs, maybe it felt a bit small to me...

IDK, bro.........sounds kinda strange. I rock a 500+ pound FZ-1 as my stunter. Whenever I get the chance to ride my bros 600's, I feel like a kid in a candy store.......they practically wheelie themselves. They're lighter, they have less responsive throttles, and they're tiny(easier to manuever and control). I'm 6'2", @ 235 pounds.

hell i'm 6'1 180 and the 636 feels perfect to me....i think bigger bikes are jus a lil too twitchy cuz they have so much power......alot of pros are still runnin liter bikes but alot of them are getting more 600's now

ya, i loved my 929, great bike, but responsiveness...f4i is so much smoother. it's also lighter and parts are cheaper for it.
i hated my f4i the first month i had it, i wasn't used to the power delivery of a 600 or the high redline. after that month though, i progressed in the next few months what took me years on my 929. also, my f4i has taken many more hits and crashes than my 929. my 929 was always breaking.
you might be right about stoppies, the front end isn't that great on f4i's....but if you're not rolling 300ft+ you can't really say an f4i front end is holding you back. Easy fix, drop that 954 front end on it and you'll have best of both worlds.
bottom line, 600's are cheaper bikes, which is great for stunters. they also seem to have a smoother power. definately between 929/954 and f4i there is a difference in FI power delivery.

i had a 900 before i blew the trans, then got an f4i. i would have to say i did like th 900 more. the f4i is a bit small for me. i think it is because of the extra weight. when i make any little move on the f4i it likes to start moving all over. didnt have that problem with my 900. i know i just need more practice but i liked the 900 as far as a starting bike goes. plus the twitchy throttle makes you all the more smooth when you get a 600.
