if they just connected the bottom of the loop to the bike wrather then to the other side and made the loop of bigger tubing and welded the whole thing together and made the strap part out of tubung and put in some gussets.........lol well then i guess it would be like the cage on my bike...lol

There was 4 clapped out F4i's in my garage about a month ago. (one roomate had 2, another had 1, and mine) All of them except for mine has FI cages on them. And I have an old school Powers that takes a beating but it also tears the **** out of my shins.

Im still rockin a fi on the gsxr but as soon as i pick another bike to stunt im get Si foshizzy i got a hunk outa my frame and lost a rearset cause fi cage

 

I think it would be easier for FI just to buy OMR cages from you and sell them that way you make more money then the new FI cages wouldn't suck and i would get one for free

i only really sell subcages but occasionally when i do sell crash cages it is usually a local because if i have the bike here i can change little things on the bike to make the cage work better , selling them to people to bolt on themselves limmits what you can do when building a crash cage

and i will say those fi clipons look cool as hell and having the adjustable bars would make fitting a hand brake a peice of cake....

 

i have run a few different cages and the Sick Innovations has by far been the best on my 636's and F4I. the difference I noticed between the FI and SI on the 636 was amazing!!! never broke a rearset again!! The F4I will just take hit after hit with SI, its amazing!

i hear ya bro! i tell people the same thing all the time. i have known for awhile that i needed to get that fi off my bike. hell i should have pulled it off the first time a snapped a rearset off. some people may not like the fact that i am saying the fi cage sucks, but the way i see it is i purchased it, so i have a right to my opinion about the product. the si cage is the ****! my 636 has hit the ground hard a few times with it and it has stood up great!
