i think you do... you have to have it inspected by a mechanic and have them sign off on the bike.
check with your dmv first.

Different states have different Laws.
Example: I got my 04 GSXR 750 w 10k on it for $3000 all it needed was sides, upper, and a headlight. I put an acubis n some signals and temp mirrors and had it inspected by a cop and got a REBUILT Title now.
Indiana rocks when it comes to rebuilding car & bike titles!!!
It just suks 4 every outher Reason...

Re: salvaged bikes

i paid 3800 for my salvaged title stunt bike that i've been riding for almost 2 years now....yeah, you can buy a stunt bike set up for that, but also remember the kind of abuse a stunt bike gets......i'll pay a little more for a fresh virgin victim.

Re: salvaged bikes

image rider miles???? if so, no, but if it was wheelied and pounded on....it's not gonna be tight like a 5-10,000 mile bike.....which is what i tend to prey on.

Re: salvaged bikes

I know you are looking at F4I's, but I bought my 03 636 with a salvage title for $2,500 back in 2005. All it needed was a radiator, stator cover, fairings and an upper. I had it back together, caged and painted for under $3500.

Re: salvaged bikes

Salvaged all the way here as well. Just pay attention to the main frame and engine. Everything else can be replaced cheap.
