What is the best fiddy?

Alright, I tried going to google and doing the stuntlife search but couldnt' find anything. I have been thinking about getting a fiddy, (for my 3 year old I keep telling the wife) and am wondering what you guys recommend and what a good price would be? I have a guy offering me a 02 honda xr50 for 700 and it looks brand new, what do you think? Obviously the cheaper the better, but I want one I can pound on daily...

talk him down!, yeah, eff the knock offs. best bet would be shop around and get on that is hooked up a little, at least with bars. my 12 y.o daughter rides mine, and she likes big bars better than stock anyway. i also have 2 y.o daughter that can drive it with the big bars also. she's a little sketchy though, lol

Re: What is the best fiddy?

honda is the way to go, yamaha is good too but its harder to find aftermarket **** for the motor and everything is more expensive for the yamaha. a used honda fiddy is fine, they are indestructable. aslong as the previous owner kept the oil level atleast half full those motors won't go. i would NOT pay 700 bucks for an 02 you...you can get a brandy new one from the stealership for 1000-1200. that guy is tryin to beat u for ur $$$. i'd offer the guy $400 max if he says no, tell him to go **** him self.

Re: What is the best fiddy?

An 02 xr50 for $700 isn't a good deal. I've seen much newer fiddys, such as an 05 crf50 go for $750...

Yeah, I will try and work him down, I didn't realize they are so cheap new, maybe I will go get a new one...it would be nice to find one with hundreds in accessories already attached...

As I was typing...I called my honda dealer here, montana honda, and he said 1599 for the new 50's is msrp...

He was just trying you one for size to see if you would say "Sounds Great, I'll come pick it up". Can't blame him for trying. Call him up and offer him a grand.
