GSX-R's Weapon of Choice!

What cage do you think holds up the best, and looks good on a Gixxer?

Re: GSX-R's Weapon of Choice!

GET an SI cage... ******' Rock Solid!!! I dropped my bike From 12 last night and that **** TOOK a CHUNK out of the GROUND!!!! I was like holy ****!!
The cage held up like a Champ... I did however bend my motor mount bolt..., but if it wasn't for that cage i would be buying a new case... not replacing a bolt..
O yeah big props to OMR... for his rock solid Subcage also... I hit my 12 crooked as **** and my subframe has very little flex.. if anything it made it stronger.. I will modify my Reinforcement I had made for it.. won't bolt up with the new subcage..

thats cuz your supposed to cut the pegs so they dont touch the ground when the bike is laid over, the powere cage was on my bike when i bought it, it works good but the bottom of the cage dented the headers on the right side i was kinda pissed about that, but the cage took a serious beating from me, and been though hell with the previous owner

see now he knows what hes talking about, maybe a rr too but anyways. if u want something low profile and isnt real visible go race rails, but if u actually wanna stunt and "look good" and your new race rails arent for you because they bend extended sliders on hard falls. so weigh the positives and negatives, and if ur a puss who just wants to "look good" then go race rails, if u wanna ride the bike get something else like a si cage
