bike is ready!

ok so i put a new motor in my sv........ i know i know! wrong bike for tha job but it's what i'm usin for now! I over filled the oil by 3/4 of a quart and welded some baffels in the oil pan to stop the oil from drainin too quickly from tha pick up. ne other suggestions short of buyin a diff bike that might make my motor last a bit?
