yes, yes it does.....a "shot" means the ammount of HP you are giving the motor....100 shot is 100hp. now, granted this is also give or take because no jet size is perfect and also it will depend on the temperature of your bottle whether or not it'll be a constant hp for htat jet or if it tapers off.

LOL ya guys i'm talkin HP numbers not times!
6's in the 1/8th wouldn't be difficult at all, i think there's a TT cobra back home pushing ~950 on the stock rods and ****.
ya'll know that motor is way overbuilt.. one kid in DFW put a twin screw on his and bumped up to 619 rear wheel.

I've gone mid 7's with a 91 Mustang on stock heads and spray on slicks. On radials that same car went low 8's spinning all over. Running 6.20's on 17" radials (drag or not) is ******* insane, that car is a monster :YEAH
Stock Busa with a decent rider will run quicker than 6.50s. A stock 600 with a GOOD rider will run high 6's. I'm not much of a drag racer on two wheels, ****, horrible drag racer, and I don't get much into that scene, but I've seen plenty of 600s with a strap/triple drop, and link go .70s

Stock long block - I think it runs 6.20's in this vid - on 17" Drag Radials full weight with a system and a TV. I know Kyle has to have mentioned this car somewhere in this thread. EDIT - this is the exact car he mentioned in the post you quoted. At one point it made 950 rwhp on the stock long block before a built motor went in, it wasn't making that much in this vid. I think somewhere in the 8's.

950 hp to run 6.20's....that's super fast, but it's not "easy" to make 950hp.....so technically i dont' call it "easy" to be in the 6's.
my fastest is 6.98 in the 1/8th with my 636 with mods. i consider myself a pretty good drag racer.
going from high 6's to mid 6's is a pretty big jump. it's definately not the same as going from 7.5 to 7.....getting below mid 6's is a challenge and a super fast bike/car.
