Ho Hey Designs....Dual Cal Setup....

Alright I decided to change the brake setup once again. Dual Calipers... Anyway I found the same rear caliper as the one I have (stock 02 gsxr600)...then decided the cut off the extra brace bracket mount that is not needed as a second caliper to mount with the Ho Hey bracket. Going to run the calipers isolated. anyway here is a pic. Take Care and thanks for the advice with Ho Hey, super stoked! (still have to connect line but this is a pic of it mounted)

Re: Ho Hey Designs....Dual Cal Setup....

just outta curiosity... what are the advantages/disadvantages of running a dual caliper compared to just running it on one??

Thats because yours are running in sync together. They still work well with dual caliper but not like yours does

Re: Ho Hey Designs....Dual Cal Setup....

ok ok. Didn't think that question was out of line.

Im almost afraid to ask more info, but I will anyway.

So I assume you still have to use a adapter or FT kit? Wouldn't this negate the advantage of the dual bracket and you could still get the one pump lag after goin from the foot to hand???

I like that method actually. If I were to go dual caliper thats the only way I'd do it. You get the advantage of a front caliper on the rear with no ghetto rigging involved.

Re: Ho Hey Designs....Dual Cal Setup....

And yes, you still have a GP Tech or Full Throttle adapter. It'd be sick with a Brembo master, Full Throttle complete unit, and Ho Hey bracket with both calipers running together... I think I just nutted.

what the **** is all this one pump hesitation bullshit. every hb ive installed never had any 1 pump bullshit hesitation problems. if your expieriencing that there's probably something wrong with your set-up or you havent bled your brakes properly.
