Oh yes he can....I got a careless driving ticket and PTA last year from an off duty cop who took down my plate, he was a town cop from a neighboring town and came to my house 3 hours after he saw me...I thought it was BS and called my local police station and they pretty much said he should have contacted them first but had every right to come give me a ticket...He insisted on going in my garage to see my bike and I told him get a search warrant because obviously my **** was registered...he found my house

And giving them the finger that only fuels their fire

 

i wouldnt sweat it i had someone pull that with me and show me a badge and i jus took off

i seen on the news earlier, an off duty cop tried to pull over a guy on a bike and he turned around and shot that bitch, cop got rushed to the hospital don't know if they got the biker

that was today, kinda funny i see a post about something like that

i was n my car pulling out of a parking lot to go pick my grandparents up at the door of the resturant and this assfuck cut me off and then stopped so i got outa the car and started bitchin at him and hes like oh ya what are you gonna do and idk what i said but i know i threatened him, at which point he reached in his car and pulled a badge out identified himself and got on his cell fone with my plate number, i jus got in my car picked up the grandparents and drove off

 

You got a pass cause of the seniors

 

oh no he was pissed specially when i threatened him i could hear him talkin on the fone as i got in the car sayin my plate and my description etc.....but as far as i knw nothing can be done unless they got me....lets just say the grandparents werent to keen on the ride home

In most cases I would say no BUT STATE TROOPERS are Different...especially in NY where they are STATE POLICE. YES! He can issue you a ticket in the Mail!

It is a defensable ticket you can win in court but He CAN do it!

Broward sheriff's deputy shot, suspect in custody 8/6/06

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (AP) — A Broward County sheriff's deputy is in critical condition today after being shot by a motorcyclist he pulled over in a routine traffic stop.

Authorities say the plainclothes deputy stopped the motorist just before noon in Hollywood, but the suspect fled on foot, then turned around and shot the deputy.

The officer's name hasn't been released. Neither has the name of the suspect, who was arrested moments after the shooting at a nearby condominium.

Nearly a dozen officers and rescue workers helped load the deputy onto a stretcher headed to Memorial Regional Hospital. And dozens of marked and unmarked patrol cars surrounded the scene.

Investigators closed off a road in the area and are looking for evidence.

 

i did a wheelie for about a mile and an off duty said the same ****. he said be expecting a ticket with a court date in the mail. i was worried as **** but nothing ever came. i think ur friend is safe

 

yes he can, an off duty officer still has the ability to even arrest you. whereas he called in your plate if ur boy has a good cover story and an aliby plain and simply his bike coulda been at a friends of a friend's 33rd/8th party situation for light mantainance. if anything happens ur boy jus hides grabs a helmet and goes to court proving evidence that he has such and such a color helmet plus he was doing other things the day of the incident and the bike was not in his possesion. also its the burden of the officer to prove who it was... behind that helmet
