clutch ez-pulls

since my bike is experiencing "down-time" I thought I'd go ahead and get me an E-Z pull clutch. I'm debating between an MSR or a Moose... which are you guys running and how do you like it?? I currently like stock, but arm-pump is killer

any feedback on both of these would be great

Re: clutch ez-pulls

the ez pull system is a must for those long sessions. beforehand i built up endurance and stock wasn't really a problem but i would blister my clutch finger after a day of hard riding.

ez pull system makes it like butter. definitely recommend.

Re: clutch ez-pulls

They are almost the same thing.

I run the Moose. Just don't overtighten the clamp or it will eventually break, even without a crash.

Re: clutch ez-pulls

MSR is made of shitty metal, but I unfortunately have one and will be trying a Moose next time... and if that doesn't work then I'll figure something out.

Re: clutch ez-pulls

I got the MSR and the Moose EZ Pull system. When I had just the MSR it didnt really help that much. I put it in all the holes and it felt stiffer than stock. Now with both the EZ Pull system and the lever its like butter yo.

Re: clutch ez-pulls

Are you talking about the in-line ez-pull? That thing is crap. Cuts the cable if you don't get it set up right. Or it could break in a rev-coaster which would be bad news. I had a msr pro last year it was all right. It stripped so I put the stock back on then I got sick of that. Ordered a moose one last week. My get the moose has a very good feel to the way it pulls. No problems so far with the moose.

This is what I'm talking about. Had it for a while and the cable just snapped yesterday. Waiting on replacement cables which I ordered today.

Re: clutch ez-pulls

I have ran both the msr and the moose. I think there is virtually no difference besides the little rubber grip on the lever of the MSR. Either way you will b happy.
