I have Icon helmets,Shoei helmets,Scorpion helmets, and a handful of ebay helmets....My personal price vs. quality has to be the Scorpion Exo 700 I got used off a fellow Stuntlifer. Fits like It should, its not that heavy, looks cool too.Icon is a good helmet tho, but it seems like an overpriced HJC to me

Heres the thing man, no helmet is going to be a bad helmet..... as long as it fits well. Helmets are made to meet DOT/SNELL standards... so protection-wise for the most part its pretty similar...

What your going to pay for when it comes to more expensive helmets is custom look, light-weight, more vents and stuff like that...

Just try on some lids, find one that you like and is comfortable and within your budget and go for it...

I personally have a HJC CL-SP with a mirrored visor... it looks like this, but a diff visor.

i live how the mirror visors look, but they are basically a sticker on the visor so they scratch real easily. I got the blue one cause its really easy on my eyes looking through it, and since the plastic itself is blue, it wont scratch the color/tint off. (same deal with smoked, orange, and all the others)

i gotta say though, my icon took a blow straight to the face at about 75 and the visor didnt crumble or anything, BUUUT again it sucked until that point. At that point i was glad i had something

My Icon Mainframe started to fall apart, it was heavy, and yah, poorly ventilated. Shoei's are worth the money, they're light, very good venting, and the visors are pretty durable. They're about $50-75 more than an icon
