Exclamation streetfightering a bike

i just ordered a Acerbis Cyclops Headlight and pulled my front and side fairings off and was wondering if there is any thing else i should do to finish the streetfighter setup.

Re: streetfightering a bike

on the fzr street fighter we did we moved the radiator resivor into the tail. We had to get a smaller one off a 250 to make it fit, but it works.

Yea, the stock fzr one was huge, so we got this tiny one off a ninja and ran the tubes on the side of the frame into the tail so it was hidden

But in all seriousness, i dont think youll get much help on what else to do unless you post pics or go into detail whats been done besides take the plastics off. (or both)

Re: streetfightering a bike

Flip the clip-ons.. And push them forward so there almost strait . Feels more natural if you grew up on dirtbikes. Made my wheelie game so much better.

Re: streetfightering a bike

Yea, do somin with that radiator overflow....I simply cut that tab off, flipped mine around and painted it black.......make sure and put a piece of tape down B 4 U paint like I did so that you can read the level still.

-flipped the clips immediately also and I got an acerbis since this picture, plus my handbrake has only just been fitted in pic. Now it is set and clutch lever is short enough for one finger slips... Just mainly wanted to show you what to do with your radiator overflow....

that looks pretty clean. Im gonna SF mine tonight and tomorrow. If you want to add a cool look to it, go to autozone and they have these cable/tube covers.... They look kinda like the outside of steel brake lines, but theyre nylon, and you stretch them over your tubes and wiring and stuff. like 30 dollars for enough to do 2 bikes. Makes it looke like a colored steel braided line.

^^^^ that works...
Or you can Fab one up like mine.. simple as **** to do.. Just a can like this one, this was filled with Diesel engine conditioner, and two 1/4" brass hose fittings from Lowes. Drill the holes for them, and JB weld into place.. Rattle can job.. Place behind the Motor, under the tank and your set...nothing on the side and cleans it up ..
