As long as it's flat, open, and nobody is around... I don't care either way. Both feel great to me.

Re: Concrete or Asphalt?

usually concrete seems flatter without having any dips but depending on the finish it can be hard to catch traction on, the spot that we use most of the time is a mix of both but the concrete always seems to have a bunch of debris and oil, while the asphalt is uneven but has more room as well. so i usually use the asphalt and deal with the dips

Re: Concrete or Asphalt?

it really depends what ur doing but the concrete ussually seems flated and smoother even thou its seems to grab more. if ur gonna do a huge asphalt lot might aswell change it up abit and make the other concrete so u have both. anyways what are u building a stunt park or something???

Re: Concrete or Asphalt?

well for u rain riders, concrete especially porous concrete like at most loading docks, soaks up a lot of water and its pretty grippy compared to blacktop.

blacktop asphalt breaks down real quickly but if prepped correctly i would choose a good porous blacktop asphalt compared to concrete....concrete just gets too slick when it isnt maintained...

basically wutever is flat tho

Re: Concrete or Asphalt?

i like asphalt. i live in new orleans and we have some terrible roads (sinking) concrete cracks and makes huge potholes but asphalt just kindof make dips in the road. so i would rather ride through a dip then a 12inch pothole.
