Then you would have to run a ghetto junction valve, and you wouldn't be able to use the foot brake and hand brake at same time

by ghetto I mean, using a ******* 'junction valve' with a damn hose clamp to maintain pressure, that is ghetto, its the setup I currently run

If imma spend the money on a dual caliper, I'm gonna go dual caliper. I'd personally rather have my hand brake and foot brake on their own system, then sticking with the current "prone to failure" setup I got

And I personal,ly always **** going from hand brake to foot brake. I'll try to get on my hand brake and have no pressure and have to remember to FULLY let off
I'd just rahter have 2 setups and NOT have to worry about a crash over something stupid

edit: of course looking at your setup, makes me thinkg I could build my own mount to hold a 4 piston caliper... hmmmmmm

Re: Dual Calipers or Junction Valve

the kawi adapter doesnt need a hose clamp it has an e clip that holds the adapter in

ahhhhh I see

Did you make your own bracket for your setup?? Did you just cut a piece of steel out, line it up with the 4 piston and bolt it up??

I think I might attempt something like that.. For temporary, would rather put dual caliper money elsewhere in my bike right now

I'm definitely going to try that.. My hand brake just is NOT strong enough for off peg scrapes
Using a 1000rr master, same setup my friend runs with his 4 piston and his **** is perfect

Only reason people use junction valves is they can't afford a dual cal setup..

one of my fondess memories of tdub and his bike, is the time at the dmv spot where I looked down the street from the spot and saw him and his bike in the bush's with a cloud of dust hovering around him
