In a seat stander do u keep your legs close together or spread apart? What about your feet, point them straight or out? Thanks in advance

Everything you just asked is personal preference go out and do it and see what you like...

Re: seat stander question

my best advice is to set your feet up like a duck. \ / this gives more control and to get comfortable practice practice practice. it will take a few days of doing nothing but SS to get it down but keep trying and trying and all of a sudden it will be like "how was this ever hard"

Re: seat stander question

Ive seen a lot of people do it this way, duck that is. I do it regular, but I keep trying the duck stance. Seems to have more control that way...

Re: seat stander question

dependin on what other tricks you plan on goin into after SS, i position my feet differently all the time. just do place your feet comfortably first and try it. you end up movin your feet around anyways.

Re: seat stander question

Both. If I want to bring the bike higher sometimes I spread my legs out and lean forward while bringing the bike closer.

Otherwise yeah keep my legs closed and straight. I'm not a pro, but this how i've been messin around.

How did you learn SS in 1 day? Are you talking engine brake SS or are you talking about idle SS? B/c he's not talking about doing SS at 30mph, he's talking about slowing them down to idle.
