How much should I lower my F4i forks in the triples for stoppies?
I am doing my front end today changing the oil out for 10 wt, repackeing stearing head bearings etc. The shop manual for my 02 F4i says to have 33mm of fork tube sticking out the top of the top triple for the clip ons to mount to.
How much should I drop the forks 1/2" ie 13mm?
So set the fork stick out at 20 mm instead? Is this enough for my stuntex/stuntme clip ons to grab onto, can I go more?

i'd try to stay with as close to stock as possible, i see alot of people running the after-market clip-ons with only 75% of the clamp actually on the fork tube... but yeah flush is the safest way to go..

Does anybody run their clip ons below the top triple clamp? I have seen guys do it at the track to keep the front end down, but I think it would be harder to wheelie.
I have them fliped now and set almost like dirt bars. Ever since I switched to .95kg straight weight springs this F4i stoppies as well as my 954, screw that 954 conversion, I will save my coin for broken shiz.
