Re: Who has the best rear hand brake set up?
he has full throttle adapter in his rear master and he connected the two calipers with a short line and a double banjo bolt like the one that come stock in front brakes..
look at most front brake and you will see what i mean they are exactly the same except the line hooking the two front calipers is longer

The power with the two calipers must be nice. But hain't the ides of this setup to have the two system seperated. So there is no jerking between the handbrake and the footbrake?

Re: Who has the best rear hand brake set up?
that setup looks pretty cool...
but is the foot brake way too powerfull/touchy now? And did it do anything as far as more feel/modulation?
I was tinkering w/ that idea, but w/ using a double banjo at the FT adapter fitting and a line goin to the second caliper.... so that only the HB will use both calipers and the foot brake will still only be one.
But then again... after i changed up my clipons to the FI and had more room i can now use a full length HB lever and grab the very end of it... which I think is plenty powerfull for just about anything w/ 1 finger.... SS coaster scrapes, HC scrapes, spreader scrapes.
And plus... the whole reason i changed over to dual caliper was to eliminate that foot brake to handbrake "one pump lag" that the adapters are so famous for.
Is the power increase worth it?

I Love The System I Hated It For Almost A Week If Not More But I Am Getting Used To It It Is Nice When You Barely Touch The Brake And It Does What You Need It To Do.

Re: Who has the best rear hand brake set up?
i agree that that is an awesome set up... ive been running that simular set up since late 05 and i love it. i have never ever ever rode or seen another bike with the stopping power of mine and just as smooth and sensitive as a brand new factory front brake system of lets say a gsxr 1k or something. awesome! before i ever seen a heyho set up ....which i think does the exact same job as my bracket but maybe looks cooler than mine or rather sleeker than mine, i had our sponsor F-U INDUSTRIES build me a dual set up to retain 2 stock rear f4i calipers but mine are 180 degrees apart, unlike the sleek looking hey ho...... but holy hell bat man... ran together like they are, DAMN YOU CANT ASK TO STOP ANY BETTER. what i run exactly is an 05 cbr 1000 rr front master 5/8'' bore a stock f4i rear foot brake master with the hand brake tied in, and a piggy backed 2 stock f4i rear calipers. i have no performance reason for wanting to experiment with another set up....., butif i could get the same performance out of a single 4 piston caliper i think i would try it just for the sleekness. i dont know? but i do have 2 front 6 piston calipers laying around huummm i wonder....???
