i suppose track days would be more fun if the track was in the states.....i don't look forward to lowsliding into a wall and being carried away on a stretcher made of bamboo and cloth LOL

Re: scraped knee...
ya i was stuck on street tires (michelin pilot powers street) also and for the first time can honestly say i was way pushing the limits of it...
I pushed the front at 110 on turn 8 at willow springs and for some unknown stroke of luck didnt wad myself, but definitely had me wishin i had some good race rubber on...
i think i may take off the cage, and downsize the sprockets on one of my bikes for the next trackday... it was waayyy too much fun to pass up..

Re: scraped knee...
racing is badass, i like every aspect of motorcycling. street, stunt, dirt, all bike racing, pitbikes, even a nice chill cruise every now and then. part of the lifestyle. :YEAH and motard racing looks as hell, i see alot of retired pro road racers get into motard, even guys still racing.

Re: scraped knee...
yea Im from chicago and I flew to california and did a track day at willow springs. it was worth it that track was definatly fun. They are both fun although I would have to say roadracing is definatly a huge rush. and if you guys are talking about getting bored at a trackday try actualy joining a race. its a whole nother world. you and bunch of other guys head to head bangin elbows drafting and trying to outbrake out corner and out accelerated eachother. thats definatly biggest rush Ive ever had.
and seth is you wanna get on the track hit me up Ill help you and I got an extra suit you can borrow too.

Re: scraped knee...
that's funny! the only time my adrenaline gets going while i'm stunting is when i nearly eat ****...i even try and see how far i can let the *** end drift out to see how close i can come to highsiding without crashing...that adrenaline surge compares to about half a corner on the track, but it does make me laugh inside my helmet!
we'll see how much I'M pushing the limits...coming to a california location near you!
thad, nice pics
