Re: longest highway wheelies....anyone still hittin the interstate?

is your balance point a little more forward when your in a seat stander? and when you tried your first SS did you already have a handbrake? im lovin this though i tried my first wheelie on a bike like two months ago and now i can rock balance point staggered and even slow em down in the wheelie. i really wanna gear the bike and get a handbrake and cage n stuff but i think im just gunna buy a all ready stunted out bike i can beat up and learn on.

So whos gonna set the new world record????
How hard would it be to set up something with some super comfy foot-in-bar setup with a ton of fuel and got Guiness to make a new world record.

Just do it on a streetbike so our our guys gets the cred.

During the record breaking, bike was being refueled in a wheelie from a van riding next to it

i didn't run out of gas, the motor locked up...meaning solid rear wheel at 45 mph. when you are on the tank in a spreader there is no such thing as tuck and roll. 5 years of game, i think i would have gotten out of it if i could.

you must have a huge sprocket or been doing 100+ mph to be in teh rpm range for engine brake in 3rd gear on a bike.

my 6.2 in SS was in 2nd gear.....

they didn't have handbrakes when i did my first seat stander

i was doing SS scrapes and slow SS's long long before a handbrake. i just started on a handbrake here in 2007. had it at the end of 06, but indiana really didn't let me ride on it much. so that's from 03-07 without handbrake. didn't slow my learning down.

sickness....i've lost my ability to steer spreader and hc on the highway. i've started doing idle hc and spreader, but now my highway **** won't steer....i've lost some of my programming somewhere along the line.

200 mile wheelie... @ 50 mph = 4 hours in a wheelie.... I cant imagine the arm pump and how tired ones legs and arms would be
