reinforcing the rad on my 05 636???????

first it was soo loose then i fixed that by drillin a hole at the top part and putting in a rivet so it dont pop out......now the rad just cracked at the top were it holds from so when i get a new rad how have u guys made that **** bullet proof pictures will be MUCH apreciated!!!! thx guyz

im pissed!

copper strap from the local home depot, run it all the way arround the bottom of the radiator and bolt it up at the top. that way its supporting the radiator and just letting it hang. havent had a problem since on my 954 or f4i

That copper strap is a good idea, and if its not leaking you can just use the radiator you have, BTW I had my radiator repaired and it busted again and I had it repaired again but after that it held up strong till I sold the bike (04-636) And it only cost me 15 bucks per repair I think I gave the guy 20 each time. call a radiator repair shop if your tryin to save some scrill. that is if its leaking.

goto a bad *** aluminum welder guy...

This is T-dubbs radiator that i took to my welder guy,, tabs were completely ripped off the rad..




oh yeah its a 04 radiator to.. but u get the concept

thats not even were mine cracked though it cracked next to the tabs on the front side of the rad were the grill and the top part meet it just split.....
