double check all your connections, if you have a multimeter make sure the starter solenoid is working correctly and getting power where it needs it

Re: 06 636 question

is there over all power to gauges?? does fuel pump prime?? is it flashin a FI light??

start with the basics check ur main fuse at the starter relay, check all fuses. then if all good hold S. relay in ur hand and hit the start button does it click? if no check with a multi meter what 2 leads have continuty (ohms) and supply 12vdc (battery power) to that and see if u have a ohms reading on the other 2 leads if yes relay is good if no relay is bad

also check power in ummm i think orange wire or R/B look for atleast 10.5vdc there and check for a good good in ohms b/y wire

if ground is good but no voltage on hot side follow it back

also try flippin the kill switch a few times sometimes u get alil corrosion in there

ok and finally make sure ur clutch switch it wired up and works same with S.S. switch and nuetral switch ( clutch switch is a must on kawi's u atleast have to jump it)

and finally ur ecu has nothing to do with cranking unless there is a major FI fault (Cam position sensor/crank position sensor) the vitals. if it doesnt know where the engine is sitting it wont turn over to avoid piston to valve contact

just my + more lol

Re: 06 636 question

yeah i have power going to the gauges. the tach goes through its routine. I'm thinking its the starter relay. i checked the red connector and one row had power and one didn't.
