Yeah, I may possibly be able to get one of those, im wanting the gixxer but 9k is a bit up there, and I cant find any used ones for a reasonable price . Heard good things bout the 636 too. So its my first bike that im owning, ive rode alot before, just never had my own bike. I'd rather not finance, due to the good points made by a few people in my other post between the zzr6 and the ninja 650r. But yeah, just threw that in so you wouldnt think im a dumbass for probably financing a new one. And oh yeah, honda is out of the question for me, I know alot of people suggested the f4i, but Honda requires insurance and I cant afford bike payments and a hell of a high insurance payment.

Cant get a loan. Being 16 definatly has its disadvantages, and theres no way in hell my dad would take out a loan to get me a bike.


The short story of it all is, im getting my GED in a couple months, dad was gonna buy me a 250 as a gift, I wanted a 600, he finally agreed, but the conditions were I had to pay the difference every month on the payment. So I havent asked him if he will give me the cash for a used one, but I doubt it. But im still looking around just in case.

i bought an 06 gsxr600 for 4,500dollars..... deal of a life time. it was minty too.:YEAH clean title, had high miles but not bad 9,000 i bought it in the fall of 06.

Just start saving up, your still very young so you have plenty of time.
Believe it or not....you don't have to have it right now, I know its hard to believe though.

And I really dont wanna finance, cause when I drop that bitch (yeah im not the kind of newbie that claims insane super powers to keep me from ever failing no matter what) my dad will be pissed. And if I dont get it now, then I will have to buy it fully, and waiting sucks ***. AND im not crying or bitching or being emo or whatever, but I havent had any friends since September, so im looking forward to getting a bike and making some. I know I cant be the only guy between 16 and 18 who has a bike.

depends on the state.. in MN to get an auto loan or finance a vehicle you have to carry full coverage.

when u buy a new bike and use factory financing u dont get a loan, u get a card and since u dont have a loan u dont need full coverage. ive never had full coverage on my bikes, even though i could have used it from time to time.
