Re: Who works at a bike shop?

i've worked at several shops in Louisiana....you wouldn't imagine the people that come into these shops.."you sold me a piece of ****.....these suzuki's are terrible".......the response being, "well bud if you didn't forget to strap in down in the truck and have it fall out, flip it cuz you don't know how to drive, and sink it in a ******* lake.....MAYBE it'll still run....."well uh, suzuki's are still ****, i might as well go next door and get a honda"

Re: Who works at a bike shop?

Im part owner of a shop , we service jetskis , bikes and so some custom work. One of the most annoying things is when the customer claims to already know exactly whats wrong with the machine and what it needs before we get a chance to diagnose it. Also when customers dont understand that more parts or expenses may arise before the job is complete , ie; broken bolts, saltwater corroded parts etc.. But the rookie riders that come in braggin about there pow pow wheelies ,i just laugh it off , and when they see that I stunt the braggin turns to lots of questions. I give a bit of advice ,while im usually just trying to focus on whatever im workin on.

Re: Who works at a bike shop?

Does one of your shops carry a variable Endo Button? I need one in the range of 400 to 700 ft.

Re: Who works at a bike shop?

Oh, I'm sorry, you wanted the 700 ft package? THAT button is much more expensive than the 200 ft package. Sir, that'll run you about $850.

Re: Who works at a bike shop?

Yeah, you get the phone calls and get asked silly questions every day.

I'm used to it, it's part of the job.

Besides, we all start somewhere.
