I saw some poeple recently with round bars they were scrapin all over the place in the lot seemed fine with them???? i havent ever seen someone scrape on the E-way but that would be hella sick. I'm curious to see this guys footage for sure!!! should be nice
EDIT: when you say round bars woul be easier for O's you mean you couldnt catch an edge right? or am i off on this on?

Re: Dragging tail on the highway
I have a massive flat bar still. I know bar tricks are gay to other stunters, but when you do shows for the general public, they kill.
My friend swithced to a round bar and likes it much better and can scrape the **** out of it. Where my bar grabs and gets caught, his is smooth and he likes it much better.

Re: Dragging tail on the highway
my mom made it
she welded up a round bar with nuts welded on it, and screwed in 2 titanium bolts. ghetto but it works and they last a long time
good advice you all, I think pulling the clutch in adds to the stability. heres the theory:
When the bar is contacting the ground, it pulls the tail of the bike backwards right.... creating directional stability. Example- if you had a shopping cart wheel on your 12bar it would twist everywhere because theres no 'pull' against the bike creating directional stability. So the opposite must be true, if your bar had a lot of friction and your tire had little resistance, it would track more straight. If your on the brake, or have the engine brake engaged, i think your bar would try to 'scrape around' your decelerating tire, and wouldnt scrape as stable.
the lesson?? put the 12 bar back nice and far (like a true 12) so theres more weight on the bar creating more backwards pulling force.... and pull in the clutch, am i right on this?

Re: Dragging tail on the highway
NO..... not at all..... pull the clutch in and be on the brake just as much as in a coaster.... the less weight on the bar the less it will fishtail side to side and wipe u out.
U wanna have most of the weight on the tire.
Think of it as a coaster w/ the bar draggin..... i learned my lesson long time ago.... if you let off the brake, ur goin for a ride.... not fun.
