Re: max MPH
135 mph on my f3.... and i loooked to see how fast i was going once i started to slow down. so i couldve been goin a lil bit faster untill i felt my head start to pull and some weight on my chin. lol ...speedo says it tops at 185 but i know there is no way it goes that fast. i need a steering stablizer before i attempt riding at those speeds again.

187 indicated, you weren't over 165 though. mine 05 hit 164, but i have 2bros exhaust instead of muzzy, and i have the lighter stock body pieces instead of fiberglass.
factory race team bikes in the supersport class wo'nt break 170.
and also, speedos are way off people. tony's r1 topped 189 (highest the speedo reads on the 04's, not sure about other years) and i was still in 3rd gear. i wasn't even close to 189 and it was reading that. mine 05 636 was registering in the 170's and i only hit 164.
a REAL 180 is a lot faster than you think. there was a very noticable difference in wind resistance and feel from my 170mph run on the r1 and my 180 mph run on the r1. i swore i was doing 200+ when i hit that 180 mark.
