HB, ive had my brembo now for a while havent spent more then an hour total practicing but i just find the transitiion from foot to hand too weird!!!! how long did it take u guys to learn it if u always used a foot brake???? any advise??? besides spending more time, cuz i just dont feel comfortable using it, to get used to it

 

take the foot brake off then it will force you to use your hand till it becomes easy

What kind of stupid **** is that? Whats with the squids giving advise on their first post, and 90% of the time the advise is gonna get them hurt.

Why the **** would he take the foot brake off if hes learning? Seriously, If he puts himself in a situation where he NEEDS the footbrake, and its not there, in a panic he grabs a fistfull of HB then mousetraps the **** out of it and jacks himself and his **** all up...

and also turn your idle all the way down so the engine brake will bring you back down if you cant get to the brake right away.

I suggest you to practice on SS first and get yourself more comfortable with your HB ...if r u gettin there then anything is possible for you to do ralph etc,.

ride for more than an hour...**** takes time to learn

 

it took me two 2hour sessions to get consistent.

i know this is going to sound funny but i suck at the foot brake....i cant do anything while trying to use it...it feels akward for me....ex..ive been trying to put my left foot on my seat and my other on the fb....and i cant .... let me tell ya my index finger is all blisterd up..

i had the same problem until i cut out my passenger seat and started putting my foot in there.

Its just better. You don't have to keep your finger on the clutch the whole time you just put it up there when you need it...... And you have more grip when your doing off peg coasters combo

i just cut my clutch lever and left just enough for one finger to grab to make it easier to go back to the clutch, but what do i know i dont even own a bike anymore.
