Re: My First Tank Dent...

its ****** hella choppy.... pretty much to learn BP on it i had to overthrottle it, and use the backbrake to keep it from coming to far up.. Im slowly getting used to it though. I read something about putting an f4i throttle tube on it to help, so i think im gonna try that this weekend. it wasnt suppose to be stunted when i got it, but i got hit, and insurance is gay, so i stomped the tank cause i was pissed, and it slowly is evolving..

Re: My First Tank Dent...

im working on getting a 929 right now... a marine i work with ghot a dui and totaled it.... Im thinkin about building a new subframe for it and changing the rear end, and SFin it..

HE wants me to pay to get it out of impound (cause he has no money cause hes also in a divorce, and hes in deep **** for the dui from the marines) So, i aint gonna drop that cash when that kid has no money, and is getting out soon.... i proposed i pay the impound charges, and keep the bike till he pays me back. HEs going for it which is good, because I KNOW for a fact he wont get the cash and hell go to VA and leave it with me.

I got a standard fi bar on it now, and jsut got done at my boys shop gwtting the subframe reinforced, so it doesn't snap the first time i hit it, oh yeah and when i get my OMR subcage i'll be set.

I started with a Rubber Mallet, but that hardly did anything. Then I used a Dead-Blow Hammer to get it good and dented... And went kinda slow, working around the Gas Cap and outwards. Got Lucky.. I saw an F4i tank on here that looked liked someone took a Rock to it..
