both. the goal is to keep it steady at bp. depends on your level of throttle and brake control.

Re: balance point question

in a fast wheelie i rock it from under bp to bp, in a slow wheelie i like to be dropped in and ride the brake slightly, to me thats just more fun

Re: balance point question

when u say slow, do u mean like idle slow? What about 2 gear? I'm no good w brake, i can ride staggered and seatstanders for 100 yards or so just trying to ride them farther.

Re: balance point question

what i like to do is when i get to the balance point is just have a very smooth c very veryvery little constant throttle and then the bike rocks in the balance point and then use the rear brake to maintain it there just lightly tapping it. like the throttle is barly cracked open and then the bike will smoothign rock into BP then you use your rear brake to maintain it. those are 2nd adn 3rd gears that i do that. then its a very smooth predictable wheelie that you can hold for as long as you want. not to mention they look alot better than wheelies that bounce all over the place cus your bike is balrly fluctuating. and to me once you get the idea of it. it way safer. im not saying im a bro or anythign but, beginers tend to be way to choppy on the throttle. everything good in life is illigal and smooth haha try practicing it like that

get used to usin that rear brake, you can clutch it up harder, go higher, and farther and wheelies become more fun then
