custom crash cages...

Ill start out by saying i have an 05 ZX-10R i can do 1/2 - full mile wheelies sitting and standing. i just started slowing it down and goin to parking lots to play. Sunday i was trying some christ airs and front wheel became very wobbly so i bailed. luckily nuthing but a few scratches on me and the bike. the next day i had surgery getting a septoplasty, something to my inferior turbonates, tonsilectomy, and had my wisdom teeth removed but i was wondering actually how difficult it would be for me to design my own crash cage ( i do have access to good local welders) i just cant see throwin down 300 for something i could easily design myself... sorry for the rant but i cant do anything and am bored as F***

Re: custom crash cages...

im not tryin to scrimp and save or anything but im out for 2 weeks (at least) and am very ingenuitive. i do have drafting skills and wanted to make a mock-up and then take it down to have it professionally welded... i m just gonna throw one together by any means. im 6'4'' to 6'5'' and i have heard many people talkin about bustin shins so this to me was a pretty big concern but with a custom cage i woulld be able to fit it to me...

Re: custom crash cages...

view my homepage on my SL profile dude, you'll love it, you'll understand my avatar

and mr 1/2 wheelier, your not doing combos n **** so your shins aint going to hit ****... your a liter bike power wheelier that still hasn't hit balance point so any cage you do get your 70mph-100mph loop out will tear your frame motor mounts right off the god damn bike...

oh and theres padding you can get for any cage at home depot.
