Re: 03 600RR ...good stunter?

any bike is a good stunt bike just as long as you put the practice time into it

but anyway, to answer your question... I've heard that RR's have a very light front end to them

Re: 03 600RR ...good stunter?

i can stunt my f4i alot better then rr. the rr balance point feels smaller but for some reason my sit downs are alot better. plus the f4i clipons are on top instead of under. easier to roll em forward but like theguy said any bike is CAN be a good stunt bike

Re: 03 600RR ...good stunter?

i've never had any problems but i quit stuntin it (for the most part) once i picked up the f4i. i'm glad i waited for an f4i to come along and just setting that up instead of my rr.
i do wish my f4i front end was as good as my rr. same goes with the motor. rr is much more crisp.

I was told the subframes were a bit weaker...I have no proof or actual accounts of this though...

Re: 03 600RR ...good stunter?

Sub-frames are garbage....just scrape the STOCK pipe....it's difficult to get a good tank melt, and the 05/06 front ends are the shizzle.....U have to get a freestyle cage for the 600rr, a subframe cage to help stop it from rolling in crashes and an upper fairing stay brace....

www.naarden.biz for the upper stay and the sub-frame cage that works perfect for the 600rr is waht i run and suggest....a sick innovations round bar is good as well.

Re: 03 600RR ...good stunter?

its a good stunter (i enjoy stunting mine and its easy once your used to it)
if your willing to put in the time
heavy in the front end so bp is high
gotta do the idle mod but same with teh f4i so no big deal
flipping the clip ons helps
like the others said, the subframe is a lil weak (ive gone through 3 already)
but the pipe is good to scrape up
a lil twitchy especially compared to the f4i but nothing you cant get used to

and +1 on buyin an 07
its a much better bike...light in the front and all the goodies
bullo seems to like it
i want to trade my 03 setup for a 07

Don't remember exactly, friend of mine had an 04 that if he stayed in the lot the battery wouldn't keep charge, if he was on the highway it would be fine. I read somewhere that they had weak charging systems and that the problem was addressed on the 05-06. If I can find the article I'll pm it to you. Stack of mags in the bathroom vanity:YEAH
