Talking starting all over again

i just put a 64 tooth sprocket on my gsxr 1000 05 and it feels like i have to start all over again i cant even wheelie the bike that long or that high it has to much torque what do you all recomend

practice practice practice


after I geared my bike it took me about 2 days for me to get really comfortable with it again... wouldve been one, but I was kinda slacking off on the first day

Your riding a powerfull liter bike that's geared. I would amagine it will be quite a bit more twitchy.

well i wanted to do circle wheelies and real slow wheelies like at 5-10 mph and with the stock it was kind of hard i could do wheelies but the slowest i got was like 30 on 2nd gear .

You can do 5 mph wheelies with stock gearing on that bike.

+1 on the colored chain.... I knew this guy who couldnt even do wheelies and one weekend he put on a green chain and when he came out... what do you know, he was bustin SS no hander circles

When i went from the 600 to the 929 i thought it was really twitchy and i was going to post up on here about how bad it was but i decided id go practice instead, and sure enough its not a problem anymore.
