Re: 12 o'clock bar questions
welllll... i checked a shops LP product book, and for the record homeboy was right. They make the 12 bar and the "street bar" (external mounting rounbar) for the 06... They dont make the roundbar that goes inside the fairings though...

- The 03-06 CBR 600rr & the 03-05 Yamaha R6 pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position!
- The 01-03 gsxr's have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
- THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lowers 3 inches wider (Then stock)
- All other models are in the stock location except they are rotated on there axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.

Re: 12 o'clock bar questions
Everything sdfkillz has said is 100% true.
It's a given to put a cage on your bike before you do anything else. If you 12 oclock it without a 12 bar or cage, the bike is going to do some flips, you're going to trash the tail, destroy the sides and front. Period. I don't have a 12 bar but I've flipped my bike a few times. The cage has saved my *** a ton. My tail is all cracked up, my front fairing is fucked, but my motor is fine, and the fairings and gas tank have never seen pavement.
While you're learning brake control and slow wheelies, you HAVE to have the cage, because the bike is going to fall. Drop it without a cage and you're going to pick it up and have broken stator covers, clutch covers, leaking radiator fluid, etc...
Don't get so pissed off. They were just telling u like it is, and you tried justifying wanting to get a 12 bar first, without even having a cage. That is senseless, that's all they were trying to tell you.
You'll learn more Jared. I don't think you were too outta line, but I never take people on forums seriously because once you get into it with somebody, it turns into a chain reaction and everyones gonna diss you.
Be sure to turn your idle up to like 4 grand too in case you didn't know to do that. Good luck.

Re: 12 o'clock bar questions
yeah im to the point where im getting really close to 12 and getting scared. and i dont want to freek and slam on the brakes and f up my forks
A bar isnt gonna keep it from landing upside down...With a bar since you dont have brake control your gonna slam it back to the bar hit a little uneven and the bike is gonna corkscrew and DONKEY flip on top of you...With out a bar your just gonna smash your tail and your gonna jump off and the bike will be alright....Learn brake control
