if youre not hitting the brake then your stance is wrong, adjust it or suffer the consequences.

ive found that if your post pics or videos, you get less flaming and more advise. Seriously, i mean if you say your doing something and having probelms someone might think its bogus, but if you post a vid of you doing a stand up, and people see **** your doing wrong like leaning forward or something, theyll acually give some advise

what ive seen a lot of people do while learning is, they stand up on the pegs staggard and just try to clutch it

You have to have a big majority of your weight on your left/back leg so that way, your right foot isnt pinned on the brake or the peg. you need to be able to wiggle it enough to use the brake

Re: 12 o'clock bar questions

i just noticed your in PA. we are in essington, pa.

i have a cage, 12 bar, and you should get a hand brake if you don't have one yet... which i can get for ya too...

we don't have our subcages yet for the 03-05 r6 so try OMR for that...

but the other stuff, give me a call.

Re: 12 o'clock bar questions

does the handbrake look like a hot start or compression release on a dirtbike? liek just a little lever by the clutch?

Re: 12 o'clock bar questions

listen man, the last thing u need is a handbrake right now. if doing staggard wheelies doesnt feel any different then doing both feet on front then something is wrong with you. theres only one way to ride stand ups and thats staggard. you dont need to incorporate a hb untill you have break control on lockdown, its a whole diff game. wait to see if youre even gonna be any good at this **** before you go blowing a bunch of money on ****. dont get offended by my blast of reality but you might not make it to the stage of handbreaks, you could go out and get hurt real bad or not even bad and decide this **** isnt for you before you even learn idle. relax and know that bike set up, although nice, is not going to give you stunt skills. if you cant learn idle on a stock set up theres no need to go any further, start with a cage and learn idle then go from there. dont go buying the car stereo before youre even approved for the car loan.
