no sir, thats for your fork internals (it holds your damper) what your thinking about is a tiny little allen screw (like on scotts mount kits) that locks the shiny fork tube into the cast part.. its on the inside of your fork (faceing your rim) just under the shinny fork tube part.

And you checked your bikes for cracks??? Even underneath in the front. I noticed that they start directly underneath (cant see it in my first pic) the frame so you gotta look close.

damn your bike is clean!!! Are those stock clip ons?? Have you tried them on top??

Thanks for the pics....SI cage looks like it wont hit your shins as much unlike 905.

The differnence is that all the mounts on the right side are adjustable, they thread in and push the motor to the left makin it a tight fit....If you over tighten the 2 rear adjusters its not that bad because the back of the frame is boxed in and very rigid, but if you over tighten the front top mount you put alot of flex and stress on the front section of your frame...You can actually see and hear the frame flexing as you over tighten that front upper adjuster...If you think about it youll realize that the pressure from over tightening that adjuster puts force on the spars and engine mounts, you are basically spreading it open wider then its supposed to be.....Then they crack right around the engine mounts on either spar...

FYI the adjusters are only supposed to be 14 ft/lbs tight (Thats basically hand tight!) and the mounting bolt itself more then double that at 33 lbs

debo look at the space between your top right motor mount and the frame, theres a gray ajuster between it. your engine mount bolt goes through the ajuster
